Our Services

Our assessments are conducted in person by a specialist occupational therapist and sensory integration practitioner in your choice of setting (or across two settings).  The assessments are comprehensive and can include usual routines, activities of daily living, sensory processing, visual, motor and perceptual skills, praxis, handwriting/ mark making.  We use a range of standardised and non-standardised assessment methods depending on the requirements of the child or young person. 

The assessments lead to the formulation of a sensory profile and a detailed report inclusive of evidence-based clinical recommendations.  The reports are suitable to support the application of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) or Reviews.

At SpOTlight Therapy we love working with schools and  offer a flexible and tailored service. 

We have a range of options to explore from one off assessments of a specific child, short sensory profiling and environmental recommendations, to full day contracts working with the whole school to embed sensory strategies.  We work with whole class groups and 1:1 with students to deliver interventions in a fun, engaging and realistic way.
